I would really like to recommend the book Growing up with Three Languages: Birth to Eleven (Parents’ and Teachers’ Guides) . Wonderful resource and really nicely written, in a language that is easy to understand from the average person. We find it very helpful in figuring out ways to teach our son our languages. It summarizes very well research done on the topic, as well as presents best practices in trilingual families. Mostly, it is a great read because it presents a success story compared to all the grim “personal accounts” one hears when telling people they are teaching their kids 3 languages.
