I live in Argentina, I speak English, Spanish & Portuguese. My husband speaks Italian and Spanish. We have a little one on the way & wanna figure out how successfully raise them quadlingual. I figured he could only speak Italian to them, and they’d learn Spanish from school & the outside world. But, how could I split English & Portuguese up so that they successfully learn both? Since it can be confusing to have one parent speak two languages, even though they’re very different.
